This year we will be present at the sixth edition of EGURTEK, , the International Wood Architecture and Construction Forum, which will be held on 20 and 21 October at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC).

This is an international professional forum aimed at engineers and architects in the wood sector: the ideal meeting place for all those wishing to share their vision and experience in the use of this building material, learn about the latest techniques, and see first-hand the most innovative and highest quality products currently available.

Egurtek is divided up into two main areas: the congress section, with presentations from prominent architects; and the exhibition area, where more than 35 national and international firms will be displaying their wares to the visitors to the forum. As in the last three editions, there will also be a space set aside for showcasing the “2016 EGURTEK AWARD”.

Worthy of note among this year's speakers in the Japanese architect, Shigeru Ban, winner of the 2014 Pritzker Award and responsible for "La Cité Musicale" in Paris, of which López Pigueiras forms part.
